Men’s Yoga:
Hatha Yoga based mainly on the Kripalu style with emphasis on the breathing process and core strength as a guide to moving and releasing tension. Need not have previous experience with yoga. Relaxation, breathing, body awareness, mental stillness, renewed vitality.

Detoxification and Rejuvenation: Achieving Optimal Health
The process of whole person detoxification and rejuvenation will be studied so you can apply it to your own life to promote healing and reclaim a sense of vitality and well-being. Toxins can be physical, emotional or mental and they are often intertwined and inter-related. We will study the pathways the body uses to eliminate toxins and methods of supporting and activating those pathways. We will learn about emotional toxicity and how it is connected to and part of the detoxification process. We will also study rejuvenation therapies to strengthen your vitality to prevent toxic accumulations and diseases.
Toxins can affect the function of any and all our body systems thus contributing to and/or causing many health problems such as: allergies, fatigue, infections, fibromyalgia, cancer etc. Rejuvenation of the digestive organs and organs of elimination can prevent and treat innumerable diseases.
This course will provide you with simple empowering methods and an understanding to stimulate and support the natural healing process. The material taught in this course is a dynamic synthesis of Naturopathic Medicine, Chinese medicine and Ayurvedic Medicine.
Topics we will study include: The digestive process and the origin of toxins; The channels/organs of elimination; The process of health and disease; Maximize the absorption of vital nutrition from your food, how to eat, and what to eat will be discussed; foods and herbs which revitalize the body; Our own unique constitution, treatment and prevention of disease; common patterns of imbalance and the support needed for healing; connections between our mind and body, emotions and organs; tools to let go of emotions and transform them to positive feelings; and techniques to identify beliefs that can be limiting your experience of life.
Mind/Body Medicine: Overcoming Stress and Accessing Peace of Mind
Stress affects your mental, emotional and physical well being and is a major contributor in the development of most health problems and medical conditions. In this course you will learn the knowledge and skills needed to meet the challenge of stress in today’s world.
You will study the effects of conscious relaxation on your mind and body and learn to use techniques such as biofeedback, meditation, visualization, progressive relaxation, breathing and writing exercises to elicit the relaxation response. These skills help you change your physical and emotional responses to stress.
This relaxation response can lead to accelerated healing, recovery times, and overall improvement in mental, emotional and physical well being. Students commonly experience increased energy levels, concentration, relaxation, and focus.
Understand how to transform stuck emotions into energy and freedom. Learn to let go and release past experiences so you can open to the present moment-relaxed, alive, loving and free.

Based on hundreds of years of time tested nutritional philosophy from Naturopathic, Chinese and Ayurvedic Medicines, this course will arm you with the knowledge and tools to begin an exploration of nutrition and its effects on your unique body and mind.
